Contest Entry: Kuja's Plea

BLAAAAAARG. WORKED ON THIS FOR 6 HOURS. SO SO TIRING @___@

Damn, and here I thought I can't do comics. Or backgrounds. Or conveying colors on different lights.

For *Wrath-of-Acelious's competition! All we have to do is draw one of his characters (I chose Mingzhi: ) with one of our OCs as a couple. I chose Kuja because that man needs some love.

My story goes like this:

Kuja is the son of Lord Calintz, and their family has always worshipped Mingzhi, the Goddess of Wisdom. Ever since he was a child, Kuja has always greatly admired Mingzhi and would offer her his prayers every day without fail. To him, Mingzhi is his aspiration, his muse, his everything.

When his family has been mercilessly killed following the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Kuja and his twin sister, Fatima, were the only ones left of the family. Kuja was at a loss, and was completely devastated that he gave up everything and became a hot-headed, rebellious and extremely brutal mercenary.

He never, however, left his long-held admiration and love for Mingzhi.

When Mingzhi materialized, he immediately began what he called a "pilgrimage" to seek her and be granted her Grace and Wisdom. The first time he managed to catch up with her, he fell in love with her almost immediately. Soon, the intention of his pilgrimage was not only to obtain her Grace and Wisdom, but to win her heart as well.

She was not an easy person to win over. Kuja was intelligent and quite wise, but she was leagues above him - every time he tried, he only got himself thwarted by her wits.

One day he came to her for yet another one of her trials. She was getting pretty annoyed with his persistence and asked him why did he persist even after knowing he wouldn't stand a chance against a goddess?

I deliberately left this as a cliffhanger because I wanted to draw the ending according to the results of this competition. That, of course, will remain a secret.
