Sephiroth is one of the Vampire Generals serving under the royal Overseer families for many years. He is the eldest of his family of four brothers and often has his hands full; serving the royal family while watching over his brothers is no easy feat. Sephiroth and his brothers came from the Overdawn family; a revered vampire family known for their long servitude to the High Sovereign Overseer family since the Truce. Legend was told that the ancestors of the Overdawn family had united with angels that saw to the Truce during the rebirth of the world, and this - somehow - explained why some members of the family were born with single wings on their right shoulders for generations. Sephiroth is born with this condition, and therefore is known as the One-Winged Angel by those who knew him [he kept his wing a secret to the world - hidden carefully under his clothes].
Sephiroth is one of the more known Generals together with Lightning Farron, especially in recent times as they are the only ones left to guard the Princess after the rest of the Generals had denounced their vampiric birthrights to join the Remnants after the Firefields War. Sephiroth is also revered for his being left-handed and his seven-foot-long sword Masamune, as well as his fierce, unwavering loyalty toward Adventia, its people and its rulers. Sephiroth had lost much during the Firefields War; his two brothers Loz and Yazoo were killed in the battlefield, and years after the war and the formation of Lord Kain's alternate vampire clan, lost his youngest brother Kadaj, who had denounced his birthrights under Adventia rule to join the Remnants. Despite his cold, professional exterior, Sephiroth is a broken-hearted man deep inside; only his companion and fellow General Lightning knew of the pain he had gone through.
He has been keeping watch over the Organization's activities throughout the years, and despite urges from his superiors to take action, he hasn't done so - knowing deep down that they are all on the right path to redeem the world.
